ARCC – Aluminium Revolutionary Chassis Company is engineering Australia’s first hydrogen fuel cell electric bus – creating sustainable solutions for our future, all in our own backyard.
Great to meet with Managing Director Peter Murley, Chief Financial Officer Sylvia Lee, Marketing and Quality System Manager Samuel Yeo and the ARCC team at their manufacturing centre in Smithfield, in our local Electorate of Prospect.
Proudly Australian, ARCC is pioneering innovative and socially responsible engineering in hashtag#westernsydney, with a bus that can drive 16 hours across 515 kilometres of road on just 32 kilograms of hydrogen. A diesel bus on the same journey consumes 170 litres.
Equipped with a lightweight bolted aluminium chassis, the ARCC designs have full-electric and hydrogen-electric configurations using the same modular frame, making them versatile for bus fleets well into the future.
